Świątynia Złotego Buddy (Wat Traimit)
Świątynia Złotego Buddy leży na terenie Chinatown w Bangkoku. W owej świątyni znajduje się największy na świecie posąg Buddy, wykonany z czystego złota.
Figura waży 5,5 tony i ma ponad 3 m wysokości. To wspaniałe dzieło sztuki może poszczycić się niezwykle bogatą historią, którą poznamy z broszurek, wręczanych zwiedzającym tuż przy wejściu.
Posąg, z którego słynie Wat Traimit, powstał w XIII w. i jest wspaniałym przykładem stylu Sukhothai. Styl ten wyodrębnił się w sztuce wówczas, gdy miasto Sukhothai było stolicą Tajlandii (lata 1400-1550).
Statua jest cennym zabytkiem Tajlandii i skarbem wszystkich buddystów.

Temple of the Golden Buddha (Wat Traimit)
Temple of the Golden Buddha is located in the Chinatown in Bangkok. In this temple there is the world's largest Buddha statue made of pure gold.
Statue weighs 5.5 tons and is over 3 m in height. This wonderful work of art can boast an extremely steeped in history that we will know of leaflets, handed out to visitors near the entrance.
The statue, which is famous for Traimit Wat, built in the thirteenth century and is a wonderful example of Sukhothai style. This style is singled in an art when Sukhothai was the capital city of Thailand (years 1400-1550).
