Port lotniczy Suvarnabhumi / Suvarnabhumi Airport

Port lotniczy Suvarnabhumi (wymowa: "su-wan-na-poom") znajduje się ok. 25 km na wschód od Bangkoku. W początkowym okresie był on lotniskiem krajowym, a rangę międzynarodowego portu lotniczego uzyskał 28 września 2006 roku.
Ze względu na wielkość zajmowanej powierzchni (ok. 32 km²) oraz przepustowość (lotnisko obsługuje 45 mln pasażerów rocznie, zaś w przyszłości liczba ta najprawdopodobniej zwiększy się do 100 mln), port lotniczy Suvarnabhumi jest największym lotniskiem w Tajlandii i jednym z największych na świecie. Suvarnabhumi posiada również najwyższą na świecie wieżę kontrolną o wysokości 132 metrów.

Suvarnabhumi Airport (pronounced "su-wan-na-poom") is located about 25 km east of Bangkok. In the early years it was the national airport, and the rank of the international airport received 28 September 2006 year. 
Due to the size of the occupied area (approximately 32 km ²) and bandwidth (the airport serves 45 million passengers a year, and in the future, this number is likely to increase to 100 million), Suvarnabhumi Airport is the largest airport in Thailand and one of the largest in the world. Suvarnabhumi also has the world's tallest control tower with a height of 132 meters.
